The Story of Montegray Vineyards
It all began with the purchase of a small, very special Syrah vineyard in the Banhoek Valley. Rose Jordaan from Bartinney then began looking for other small-batch, interesting varietals and special vineyards in the Winelands showcasing the region's diverse nature.
Montegray Vineyards owe its prosperity to the rich and diverse Cape Floral Kingdom. Each bottle of the first vintage Montegray wines will have a seed tag attached which should be planted to protect and reinvigorate the floral diversity.
