Deliciousness underpins everything we do at the Frogitt & Vonkel Wine Bar on Bree Street in central Cape Town.
Situated in a 220-year-old heritage building, the wine bar features a carefully curated pick of around 30 wines from our current private customer's list, including best-selling South African and exciting imported wines. Every wine is available by the glass (175ml).
Our philosophy of “going big on small production” carries through to our beers and spirits, too. Craft gins, local vodka, rum & brandy are all sourced from small producers in and around the Cape.
Those fancying a bite to eat will be delighted with our cheese and charcuterie boards and snacks, all sourced from local small producers. For those seeking a more substantial dining experience chef, Matt Manning’s first restaurant Grub & Vine is situated within the same building.
The wine bar is a place to enjoy great wines and relax with friends, family and colleagues. We offer a complimentary Pool Table, Darts and a wide selection of board and card games from classics like Scrabble through to Cards Against Humanity.
Our wines can be ordered at the bar for home delivery via our Private Wine Merchants™ service, and a range of wine accessories and gifts are also available for purchase.
