De Zoete Inval, meaning a 'sweet falling' is a family winery with a big reputation for doing things our own way! The Frater Family arrived in South Africa from the lowlands of Scotland in 1878 and settled on the historical De Zoete Inval Estate in the Paarl Valley.
Frater Family Wines is the epitome of family wine farming, and each grape and wine is harvested and made in honor of a member of the Frater family. Today Winemaker John-Robert Frater and his wife Eulalia still reside on the estate with their three children: Adrian, Connor, and Elizabeth.
