Trophy Wine Show Tasting – Cape Town

Wines presented at the Public Tastings are all either silver, gold or trophy medal winners which have excelled in the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show competition.
The wines were judged ‘blind’ (labels unseen) by a panel of judges chaired by South Africa’s wine authority Michael Fridjhon. All judges are esteemed international and local wine personalities.
Trophy-winning wines at the public tasting will include Best Red, Best White, Discovery of the Show (Best Value) and the International Judges’ Trophy award. All wines are available to order on the night at the Makro pop-up store at show prices and light meals and refreshments are also on sale.
