The Cabernet Franc Carnival – Paarl

The Cabernet Franc Carnival is a niche event, which took place at Stellenbosch-based winery, Avontuur Estate over the last five years. From 2020 the Carnival moves to Vrede en Lust Estate between Franschhoek and Paarl on Saturday, 9 May from 11h00-16h00.
Around 350 fans rock up to taste, buy and enjoy some of the country’s best examples of this varietal, produced by a passionate group of producers who do it for the “love of the wine”!
Once again the Top 6 of the 2020 Cabernet Franc Challenge will be offered in a tutored tasting set-up.
Tickets are R275 each online and R300 at the door, which includes a branded wine glass and an R60 food coupon to spend at the eateries present at each event.
