Spier Wine Farm introduces the WINTER TRAIL RUN SERIES.
Come and join us for the Spier Winter Trail Run Series, Sunday 15 July 2018.
Our 3km walk or fun run, and 5km or 10km trail races take you past Spier’s pastures and vineyards against the backdrop of the majestic Helderberg mountains. Great wines, craft beers and food available from the Spier Farm Kitchen.
The 3km is a non-timed walk/jog/fun run, and the 5km and 10km are timed.
- REGISTRATION: 07:15 – 08:45
- RACE BRIEFING: 08:45
- START: 09:00
- PRIZE GIVING: 10:30
No registration or late entries after 8h40.
- 3km – starts 9h10: R30.00 for pre-entries. R40 for late entries
- 5km – starts 9h05: R60.00 for pre-entries. R80 for late entries
- 10km – starts 9h00: R100.00 for pre-entries. R120 for late entries
Online entries close 2 days prior to the event at noon. No dogs/pets allowed at the venue or on the trails, please.
PRIZES:
All prizes will be treated as “spot” prizes. You have to be present at prize giving if you want to be a contender. Instead of handing out medals or bracelets, we donate the money to the Sidewalk Specials NPO. They are a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitate, sterilize and finds homes for animals in need. They are in dire need of funds and they do amazing work!
