Run the Vines #4 Mellasat

The 4th event on the Run The Vines 2019 calendar will again take place at the picturesque Mellasat Vineyards.

Don’t let the winter weather keep you indoors. Bring your family and friends and take part in this event – keep fit and warm this winter. If the family doesn’t want to run, come anyway and experience true farm hospitality.

Mellasat is a boutique wine farm and home of the world’s first White Pinotage. With stunning views of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains and the Paarl Valley, you will feel like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We will have a selection of gourmet fast food available that include toasted sandwiches, gourmet breakfast tramezzini, cheese platters and much more.

Taste our range of award-winning wines including our White Pinotage or our Tempranillo.  Wine specials will be available.

Only wines from Mellasat are allowed on our premises.

Under /12 – 3km Henties Junior Challenge — Free – Start 8:30  Adults can accompany the kids at R50 per person.

• 5km Run The Vines  –  R100  –    Start: 8:15
• 10km Run The Vines  –  R120 – Start: 8:00
• 17km Run The Vines  –  R150 – Start: 7:30

Registration will be open from 6:30. R30 Late entry fee.

Timing is free of charge and is done with the Timing.mobi system.

There will be a dedicated safe-keeping area to keep all your valuables. Please do not leave items such as handbags, cellphones, and wallets in the car.
