The Hemel-en-Aarde Producers invite you to the 8th Annual Pinot noir Celebration on 29th January 2022.
This year we present an intimate one-day event exclusively for 75 guests.
Embark on appellations’ tours and tastings led by Miguel Chan, Roland Peens, Cathy van Zyl and Joseph Dhafana joined by the winemakers from Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, and Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, hosted in their respective appellations.
Wonderful relaxed lunch by Chef Stefan Otto served with Hemel-en-Aarde Chardonnays on the lawns of Bouchard Finlayson, overlooking the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
And the Grande Finale, celebratory dinner by chef Bertus Basson at the private residence of Anthony and Olive Hamilton Russell, Braemar, Hamilton Russell Vineyards. Bigger bottles, older rare vintages of Hemel-en-Aarde Pinot Noir, and vintage New Zealand Pinot Noir await.
With only 75 tickets available, this will be a unique opportunity to taste the 2020 vintage Pinot noirs from the Hemel-en-Aarde Area. Three tastings, one in each of the appellations, hosted by the winemakers and moderators to ensure an interesting, in-depth opportunity to get to know the vintage with all its trials and tribulations.
A VIP tour of the Hemel-en-Aarde, as producers, not only open their tasting rooms but also their barrel cellars and private homes for a very personal experience.
