Cellar Rats Winter Wine Festival – Johannesburg

With Winter on its way, this is the best time to come and taste some of South Africa’s best wines, bubblies, ports, brandies, craft gin, craft beers, Portuguese wines and more, in a stunning outdoor country setting.
More than 50 producers will present in excess of 300 products for the adult tasters’ enjoyment. Products will be available for purchase on the day at special discounted show prices.
This is a relaxed, family fun day of tasting, with plenty of food available for purchase at the Cattleman’s Kitchen, as well as limited food vendors. A children’s entertainment area is also available, as well as a Jumping Castle.
For those traveling from outside of Johannesburg, there is accommodation available at Bosheuvel Country Estate, and it’s a short Uber ride from Lanseria Airport.

The festival is in support of DogtownSA (a division of Barking Mad)
They are in desperate need of funds as they have recently experienced some severe setbacks with 4 burglaries in 3 weeks.
