The 2nd Annual Capital City Wine Show returns to Pretoria on 3 and 4 May with a contemporary look inspired by the striking urbanscapes of the Jacaranda City.  Building on the success of the 2018 inaugural show, the Capital City Wine Show takes place at The Capital Menlyn Maine, the recently opened contemporary hotel surrounded by the chic restaurants and eateries located in Africa’s only “green city” precinct.

Around 40 wineries will showcase a premium range reflecting both heritage and new style wines.  Pretoria wine lovers who attended last year’s show will recognize the widely enjoyed wines of Boekenhoutskloof, Bonnievale, Fat Bastard, Glen Carlou, Glenelly, Hill&Dale, Jordan, Krone, Neethlingshof, Overgaauw, Rijk’s Robertson Wines, Saronsberg and Spier.  Among others, new exhibitors Cape Diamond Wines, Lammershoek, Mensa and Survivor will introduce their innovative brands, while Da Luca, Reciprocal Wines, and Vini Italia present their international cuvées and sparklings for visitor tastings.

Delectable bitings for sale at the show from Koi, Sushi Bus, Just Biltong, Chocolates and More (for imported cheese, salmon and foie gras) and Mari’s (nut brittle for the dessert wines).
